Gopika Premsankar
I am a tenure-track Assistant Professor at Aalto University in the Department of Information and Communications Engineering, School of Electrical Engineering.
Before joining Aalto, I was an Academy of Finland postdoctoral researcher at University of Helsinki, and had a short stint as a postdoctoral researcher at Ivey Business School in Canada funded by the Finnish Cultural Foundation. I completed my doctoral research from 2015 to 2020 at the Department of Computer Science in Aalto University under the supervision of Prof. Mario Di Francesco. I have also spent time in research labs in VU Amsterdam, Duke University, Nokia Bell Labs and IBM Research Ireland.
My research interests are in networked systems, with a primary focus on enhancing the sustainability and performance of large-scale networks. More information on the research page.
